Lime plaster and render has been used for thousands of years — and for good reason. Its natural breathability makes it the only appropriate choice for older and historic properties where moisture management is critical. Unlike modern cement-based products, lime allows walls to breathe, preventing the trapped moisture and salt damage that can cause serious structural problems in period buildings.
