The Founder
Ricky began his plastering career at sixteen, learning the trade from the ground up on building sites across London. What started as an apprenticeship became a lifelong dedication to the craft — a pursuit of the perfect surface that has defined everything OPL has become.
After more than a decade working for others, Ricky founded OPL Rendering & Plastering Ltd with a clear purpose: to build a company where quality was never compromised, where every tradesman took genuine pride in their work, and where clients could trust that the finish they were promised was the finish they would receive.
Over seventeen years, that vision has been realised on hundreds of projects — from Victorian terraced houses in Notting Hill to luxury hotel lobbies in Mayfair, from listed farmhouses in the Cotswolds to contemporary new build developments across the Home Counties.
Ricky remains hands-on across every project OPL undertakes. His presence on site is not ceremonial — it is a guarantee. When you work with OPL, you work with the person who built the company and who cares most about its reputation.
